No War of Austrian Succession

What if Prussia had accepted the succession of Maria Theresa and not made a grab towards Silesia? What does the rest of the 1700s look like- is there still a Seven Years War? A Partition of Poland?

Other powers in Europe (France, Spain, Saxony, Bavaria) could still try to grab a bit of Austria. Frederick wasn't the only one, just the fastest.

You know, you should go with an earlier POD - have a large, competent Austrian army around to back up Maria Theresia's position, and while there might still be a short war, it will be over very quickly.

Unfortunately, her father only left her a paper (pragmatic sanction), but not a full treasury and a strong army, as one of his advisors criticized.

That's exactly what I mean. Force of arms would have made a nice deterrent against an adventure (at least with Prussia, and likely Saxony).
