Peshawar Lancers Redux: North America

Captain Peterson received a coded message from the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations informing hin that if the Canal was declared operational in 1892 supplies would be directly shipped from Hawaii.
 
Air Ships of the Royal Hawaiian Navy had been starting to carry out aerial recon Missions over Eastern Canada taking pictures during the late Spring and summer. The ship came sown to within 20 feet of the Great Laked to be able to lower scientist and test the Ice.
 
The Royal Hawaiian Navy was transmitting the information to the University of Hawaii. The University was compiling the data and noting any changes that had taken place.. The Royal Hawaiian Naval Air Service sent of of the new Zeppelin class of Airships over Alaska and the Arctic during the warmest months of the year. The ship as with other ships took temperature readings at various levels and photos of the ice cap.
 
Fort Louisbourg: Captain Peterson received a coded message that a Hawaiian Merchant ship was enroute to his location with some new equipment as well as supplies. It would be the first of many ships that would come from Hawaii/
 
Deputy Prime Minister William Kamehameha arrived by Airship to visit Fort Louisbourg with him was the Attorney General of Canada and Brigadier William Halviland commander of the Canadian Army. William Kamehameha trip was part of a series of visits to places that Hawaii was interested in. He would continue his trip to Ireland and then Portugal before landing in the Azores to refuel and returning to Fort Louisbourg to pick up the Canadians for a trip back to Vancouver. The Deputy Prime Minister would pick up his wife in Hawaii and then travel to Japan by airship. The couple would visit the Japanese Home islands for 5 days before leaving for Hong Kong. They would stay there for 3 days before leaving for a conference in the Netherlands East Indies . There would be a meeting of the three oil companies which the Hawaiian leader would attend. From there he would fly to India to meet with the British prime Minister and have an audience with the Queen. They would then fly to Western Australia and remain for 3 days before flying to the Eastern part of the country and meeting with the Australian Prime Minister and then fly home to Australia.
 
The future Prime Minister would remember his visit to Fort Louisbourg and would continue to assist other Nations in the rebuilding effort. His visit to Ireland and Portugal say greater involvement by Hawaii in projects.
 
Two Hawaiian Freighters arrived at Fort Louisbourg delivering a lot of supplies for the base plus a new Generator.
 
The late 1890s saw a greater effort by the Canadian government to begin a serious attempt to push the rail connections further to the East. In Eastern Canada Halifax saw growth. Fort Louisburg continued to be the chief facility in Eastern Canada.
 
Fort Louisboug was becoming the key base for handling a lot of the work that was being done in Eastern Canada. It was also the base from which the monitoring of the ice cap and weather was done. The Hawaiian government had funded the rebuilding of the facility and still a great deal of the people living there were Hawaiians although the Canadian population had grown. The Current Population of the fort was 3,000. Halifax's population was growing and there was a demand to build more things there.
 
Halifax's population had now reached 1,900 and was growing every year. The Canadian Government had paid an Hawaiian company to clear the port and rebuild the docks and other facilities.
 
By the late summer of 1896 the population of Halifax had begun to really grow as part of the population that had been evacuated from the east slowly began to return. The Port of Halifax was seeing much improvement as warehouses and manufacturing facilities began to grow. Still It was not Halifax but Fort Louisbourg which was the main hub for the recovery of Eastern Canada and the transit point for aid to Europe.
 
By the fall of 1896 the Canadian government had managed to make a lot of progress restoring the railroad connection to the east. They were approaching the border of the Providence of Ontario. The Hope was that by the end of the century they would have the rail connections restored all the way to Quebec.
 
Canada's Minister of Reclamation arrived in Hawaii for talks with the Hawaiian government on the effort to rebuild Canada and Hawaii's help in reclaiming more of the country. As noed Fort Louisbourg had become a key spot in the plan to rebuild Eastern Canada. It was currently the HQ for the Canadian Governments efforts in the east. Halifax had been repeatedly demanding that administrative post be moved to it from the fort.
 
Canada's Governor General made an unexpected visit to Halifax. He arrived in a Royal Hawaiian Navy Airship. He stayed in the city for a week taking testimony from its citizens before leaving for Fort Louisbourg and then stoping at the old capital to see restoration work in the Ontario city.
